A mix of print (memories) and logo design.

It was a privilege to design this memorial marker.

I had been at Bose 14 years when I started this project. I thought I knew the Bose story pretty well. Over the next 10 months, we spent countless hours watching and listening to almost100 recordings of Dr. Bose. What an eye-opening experience to learn how his story intertwined with the company's story. Combine that with dozens of interviews with original Bose employees, and I now had a holistic view of who

Dr. Bose was, why he started the company, and why Bose does things their way.

Celebrating the past is good. It's better if it inspires you to dream & reach for the future. Personalized

2-sided bookmarks delivered that message.

It was a great privilege to design this memorial marker. I had been at Bose 14 years when I started this project. I thought I knew the Bose story pretty well. Over the next 10 months, we spent countless hours watching and listening to almost 100 recordings of Dr. Bose. What an eye-opening experience to learn how his story intertwined with the company's story. Combine that with dozens of interviews with a lot of the original Bose employees, and I now had a holistic view of who Dr. Bose was, why he started the company, and why Bose does things their own way.

Dr. Bose loved to use quotes from reputable reviewers. It was not uncommon for quotes to be used for up to 6 years. This goes all the way back to the beginning of Bose when a leading hi-fi magazine gave a glowing report of the original 901s.

This in-store brochure flipped the approach on it's head. Immediately after a retail-store customer got the dynamic demo — something Bose always excelled at — they were given this brochure and asked to write their impression on the cover. If they wrote something positive, they were then guided to open the brochure. The first thing they saw was the line "The experts agree." with accompanying quotes from industry reviewers.

Note: Dr. Bose was quoted as calling this idea "Ingenious".

Not bad coming from a member of the Inventors Hall Of Fame.

These posters hung above the ST20 display in the Bose stores. I love the shot because Rory isn't swinging a club. He's not acting or posing. He's just into his playlist.

These three 8' x 3' pop-up banners were part of a product release PR event at the LA coliseum. Bose and Lucas Films had a relationship where we were able to style a pair of AR headphones after the Sith Helmet.

Photographer Mike Shore handed me a Nikon D800 at the beginning of the shoot and said if I saw anything worth shooting to feel free. At some point Melissa and I got talking about the custom-color A20's that had just been given to her by the Bose product manager. She hopped in one of the planes we had for the shoot and magic. No prop stylist could have chosen the blue glasses and shirt any better. Susan Hamilton wrote a great line on the spot. I created the layout right there and showed it to the product manager. Sold.

I have a friend that is an entrepreneur. Last year he started a service that keeps an eye on your property while you're away. He used this simple animation on Instagram and Facebook and had instant results.

Hope House is a Christian orphanage in Thailand that rescues kids from abject poverty and despair.
They are lovingly nurtured with the goal of them going back to their tribes as civic and spiritual leaders.

Using photography I shot while there, I designed these for t-shirts and sweatshirts.
